Santiago Max - Immortals de Cibao 110-112

Immortals de Cibao outgunned Santiago Max to go up 1-0 in the final four. Immortals de Cibao outrebounded Max 49-39 including a 35-32 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of LDC League MVP Oliver Garcia (188-G-1996, agency: Ballerz Unlimited LLC) who helped to win the game recording 31 points and 6 assists (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!). Ameth Gil (191-G/F-1988) contributed with 27 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Frandy Jaques answered with 29 points and 5 rebounds and Oliver Ferreira added 18 points in the effort for Team Max. Santiago Max' coach gave them great chances to win the game. But LDC Coach of the Year J.D. Barnes continue to show magic in the final minutes of each game. Immortals de Cibao are now 6-0 (regular season) and 1-0 (playoffs).

Fenix Santiago - Del Patio Basket 118-90

Fenix toppled Del Patio Basket to gain 1-0 lead in the final four. Fenix outrebounded Del Patio Basket 53-41 including 22 on the offensive glass. It was a very good performance for Jefry Arias (182-G-1994) who helped to win the game recording 26 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists. The Melvin Diaz contributed with 27 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four Fenix players scored in double figures. Dominican forward Yodael Almonte answered with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 10 rebounds and 2 blocks and Bryant Mendez added 19 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Del Patio Basket. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
